City of Pearland Parks And Recreation Department Special Events

While searching for information on Pearland Parks And Recreation departments, I recalled the Pearlander.com Business Directory from my last inernet search. It is an online directory of local businesses. Since it is designed for residents of the Pearland area, the search results provide a narrow and focused list of businesses- you don’t have to sort through two million listings as you might see with Google or Yahoo searches.

So, I was able to quickly grab the phone number for the city of pearland parks and recreation department from the Pearlander.com Business Directory. The Parks Department gave me the information I needed about the big city park next to the high school.

I was concerned that the park close to the high school might be a part of the school grounds, which could prevent us from using it during school hours. Making sure the park was not solely used by the Pearland High School was the first step. A fast search at Pearlander.com allowed me to find the city parks and recreation phone numbers then gave them a call. A city employee told me that the park is definitely free and open to the public.

She explained further that several times throughout the year the city of Pearland closes one of their parks for special events, but is still open with a general admission cost. Those type of special events are typically announced through the media, so there is no great surprise to anyone that frequents the park.
